Tenant Assist Program offers the following services to tenants:
- Assist tenants with the terms and conditions of their lease agreement;

A quick overview: Tenant Assist endeavours to equalise the playing field, because a landlord has plenty of resources on his/her side, like specialised eviction attorneys, rental agencies, insurance policies, and the tenant must defend him/her-self with no material assistance.

Landlord Assist
This is an “Assistance Contract” to assist you, the Landlord/Estate Agency, with all the legal documents and requirements for successful letting.
PROFESSIONAL ASSISTANCE, BY QUALIFIED EXPERTS IN THE RENTAL INDUSTRY TO:
- screen all your new applicants and current tenants;
- provide you with legal application forms, contracts and inspection templates;
- draft and send ‘Letters of Demand’ on your behalf (to a tenant who is in breach of the terms and conditions of his/her lease agreement);
- draft and send ‘Notices to Cancel’ a lease agreement in terms of the Consumer Protection Act;
- draft and send ‘Cancellation Letters’ in accordance with the Prevention of Illegal Eviction from and Unlawful Occupation of Land Act, to defaulting tenants;
- instruct/appoint an attorney, from our panel of attorneys, to summons the tenant for all arrear amounts that are due and payable in terms of the lease agreement. (NB Kindly contact landlord legal to find out more about the costs involved as this process in not included in the assistance contract);
- instruct/appoint an attorney, from our panel of eviction attorneys, to evict a tenant whose lease agreement was lawfully cancelled or who is in unlawful occupation of the property after the appropriate/legal notices were sent.
